About this app

From the Discover Tab on the bottom bar, you can see your current location on Google Maps. From the CreateFOTO Tab, take a picture. The picture will have the last seen map embedded in it. After you take the pic, use the ViewFOTO Tab to view the most recently taken picture, along with the embedded map. If a recent digiFOTO pic can't be found, a picture chooser is launched to help you locate the picture to view. The EditFOTO tab is similar to the ViewFOTO tab, but instead chooses a picture editing app instead of a picture viewing app.

From the top Action Bar, use the Satellite Icon to toggle between Hybrid/Satellite mode and Normal mode when viewing the map. From the top Action Bar, use the Marker icon to toggle the Marker on the current location. The marker will usually be drawn on the current location (the blue circular dot). If the map is not positioned on the current location, use the bullseye overlay button in the upper right corner of the map to center the map at the current location.

Touching or clicking the marker icon will bring up and Info Window, showing address at the current location. Clicking the Info WIndow brings up a dialog that allows you to change the contents of the Info Window. The content you enter can be text and/or emoji.

When Creating a digiFOTO, if the contents of the Info Window are visible on the map, they will also be included in the map embedded in the photo. When the Info Window is visible on the map, the Marker location is locked and the current location icon (the small blue circle) is hidden. Clicking the maker or anywhere on the map while the Info Window is active will dismiss the Info Window and restore the visibility of Location Icon.
