The Diabits app is a personalized diabetes management tool made by Bio Conscious for people with type I and type II diabetes. Using a machine learning algorithm, the Diabits app builds a personalized model of your blood sugar. The model gives you estimates of your blood sugar up to 60 minutes ahead of time to help you better understand how different stimulus impact your blood sugar trends, and how to better avoid highs and lows.

The Diabits app ("the app") is designed to demonstrate the potential value of estimating blood sugar in order to assist with diabetes management. The estimates of blood sugar in the Diabits app should only be considered in direct conjunction with the data from your continuous glucose monitor ("CGM"). Always refer to the measurement made by your CGM before making any corrections with food, insulin, or otherwise. Do not use the Diabits app to determine insulin dose, or to control an insulin pump or other sort of insulin delivery system. The Diabits app is not intended to replace any self-monitoring practices, or other treatment methods prescribed by your primary care provider. The data displayed in the Diabits app, including the blood sugar estimates, the measured value, or any other details about your blood sugar trends should not be taken as fact. Only your CGM itself may be considered a fully accurate source from which to view or receive data from your CGM. The estimates in the Diabits app are made by a machine learning algorithm and may or may not be representative of your actual blood sugar in the future. The machine learning model which powers the Diabits app takes between three and seven days to learn your personal physiology, and will become more accurate with continued use. The Diabits app, by default, sets the low boundary of your target range at 70 mg/dL or 3.9 mmol/L. The high boundary is set at 180 mg/dL or 10 mmol/L. You may change these values at any time, and should set your target range boundaries based on the recommendation of your primary care provider.
