Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DFDS - Passenger on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

The DFDS Passenger app is your travel assistant for journeys with DFDS. Whether you're looking for inspiration to book a trip or preparing for one you’ve already booked, the app will help digitalise and enhance your travel experience.

In this initial version, passengers travelling without vehicles and who do not need a visa can check in smoothly via the app to board the ferry. You can also scan travel documents and easily enter the necessary information.

The Home section can be customised based on the information you need or are interested in. With links to our mobile booking flows, booking through the DFDS Passenger app is easy.

In the Routes section, you can view all DFDS routes along with departure and arrival information.

Your upcoming and previous bookings are stored in the Bookings section when you log in. You can also add bookings using your DFDS booking information.

Future updates will include features such as check-in for passengers with vehicles, support for passengers requiring a visa, and digital cabin key cards for common areas and cabins on board.
