The Decom G6 works well but the limited list of devices that are compatiblr is sorely lacking!! When I talk to an agent from Dexcom, his suggestion was to go & get a new phone. Being on a limited budget that was impossible. The phone I have, I only have had for a year & still have to pay on it for another year. It's not like I can just go & trade it in for a model that works with the Dexcom. The list of devices should be more inclusive so others can follow you & send help when needed.

Update.... I contacted the manufacturer regarding not being able to connect to the server. they had me uninstall the app and change my language and region in my Android settings on my device. They need to be set to your correct country and language and redownload the app. Everything is up and running. Thanks Dexcom! Issue in the past. Not in working order. Haven't been able to connect to the server. So app does not load.

This app has been a lifesaver at monitoring my newly diagnosed 2 year old diabetic. I can monitor trends whether im with her or at work. I just wish we had the option to have alerts be on regardless of having the sounds/ vibrations on or off. I keep my phones volume on at night to hear her alerts, but in turn hear the alerts for everything else (i.e emails, texts etc).

It was a bit slow but now the app won't open at all. I need to keep an eye on my daughter and it doesn't exactly help when the app crashes as soon as it open now.

It's pretty clear that Dexcom needs more programmers. Telling a customer to turn off automatic updates in their OS is not a solution. This is an expensive system that promised phone connectivity, but the supported phones and OS list is quite small. The all needs more information. The graph is visually appealing, bit I'd like to be able to just see the actual numbers and times.

Great concept. However the G5 mobile app needs to be rebooted several times per day. All our phones have stable connectivity and I run a regular speed test to ensure we have a strong a connection and data speeds. Dexcom needs to work on this bug so the app stays connected to the server. The Follow app and the G5 mobile app are a literal life saver. They just need to improve the connectivity issues. This is especially critical for my daughter who sleeps deeply and needs the alarms.
