This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Mobile Rock on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

I hope to enjoy this app, and I will change my review if this one problem is fixed. I put in my username and password, but the "Login" button is unclickable. When I tried the "Forgot Account" link, I entered my email address, and the "Send Username" button was unclickable. Which means there's no way to get into the app.

My account is linked to google, and it does not have an option for me to sign in that way.

About this app

This is a full featured app that ties into your Rock RMS instance that is powering your church. Since it is tied to your database it gives you a way to easily manage groups, content, calendar, and other items. Church members will be able to see which groups they belong to, contact info for the people they are in group with and if they are a leader they can easily take attendance. The calendar module, blog module, series module, and links module are pulling directly from your Rock content section so anything that is approved will automatically appear in the app. Create your series and add individual videos to it and see them populate the app directly from your instance of Rock RMS.

Because this is a native app it is pulling the users right from your database so all security roles and rights apply to each user. Church members can register directly from the app instead of your website and it will work exactly how Rock RMS natively handles new registration. Church members have the ability to update their own information and the information for their family while staff members can mark attributes for each member as well.
