I searched for "white square border app". I tried 4 other very popular apps that are most recommended - none of them did what I wanted. I wanted to use a custom crop on pictures, and have white borders that padded the cropped image to a square. 4 apps didn't have this exact functionality, but this app does. It even let's you choose the output resolution of the image, and has some dimension presets for cropping. These are great extra features Pls add custom colored borders (or black)

This app is very simple and easy to use. It doesn't require camera permissions and it allows you to sort photos by folder so the perfect photo is easy to find. There are ads but there are no full page ads and they're not very annoying. There used to be an issue with the app but they emailed me and fixed it within a few weeks. Very good customer service.

Amazingly Easy to use. Reduces file sizes from MB's to KB's without affecting picture quality greatly. Pics are ready,post processing & editing ,for uploads on various social media. only disadvantage - you can select only 1 photo at a time for processing and can't select a batch. Excellent. This is the most simple app you could ever want, and it's better for it. All you can do is open a photo, crop it, and then put a background behind it so that it's square. This is super useful for artist with unusually shaped pictures who want to show the whole image on Instagram.

i tried some other squaring apps, and they didn't give me the flexibility and features i like in Crop n'Square. It's not Photoshop, it doesn't do everything - but it does exactly what I need (although i would like eyedropper selection from the image. And a pony!).

Crop n' Square lets you publish a non-squared picture into squared-images social networks like Instagram! Stop croping your great picture into a boring square, publish it full sized!

Just select an image from your gallery, select the portion of the image to show, and then share it to Instagram. You can also share the image from you preferred program to Crop n' Square so you can flow your image through several applications.

Crop n' Square lets you choose the background color of the square frame, apply a shadow around the image and can make your image corners rounded! Try the new Ghost Background!

Crop n' Square has been designed to work on mobile phones and tablets, and successfully tested on Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, as well as common modern devices.
