Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is an online multiplayer battle arena (MOBA) game designed for mobile phones. The two opposing teams battle to reach and destroy the enemy base while defending their own base to control the lane, three "lanes" known as "up", "middle" and "bottom", connecting the bases. The weaker computer-controlled characters, called "minions", appear at the team base and follow three paths to the opposing team's base, fighting enemies and towers.

In each team, there are five players who each control a single character known as a "hero". Heroes can be grouped into 6 different roles, Marksman, Assassin, Mage, Support, Fighter and Tank.

In addition, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has different types of Arcade games, which feature different gameplay mechanisms, such as;
