Great idea, but doesn't work. Only the current Bible reading is available (no archives), and there's nothing for the Spirit of Prophecy.

Would you consider linking the Bible reading to other local apps rather than online? There are several free Android Bible apps that allow linking to them from other apps, including Mysword, Quick Bible, MyBible, Tecarta, Olivetree, etc, and several of them support text to speech for the Bible text. This should save you extra programming and debugging. A popular Sabbath School app does this very thing. It would be worth exploring the same for the EGW app since the SoP readings don't seem to work.
