This app is great, if a little outdated in terms of look. But its one of the very few custom character sheets out there. As a long time player and GM I find that this is really useful, especially since I seem to be playing a lot of custom games of late. Three requests that sort of work hand in hand. 1) Drop down menus 2) If, Then options. 3) The option to delete old character sheets (very important for housekeeping!) The game I currently am playing uses this Low, Medium, High option for stats. So it would be great to have something that is like "If [Low], [Hitpoints] = 25

Ok-ish for simple systems, yet creating a sheet still takes to much time. Not usable for complex systems that rely on tables to determine bonuses based on stats you have.

Awesome app for any tabletop game. Is there a way to enter percentages, or have a decimal round up instead of down

Not only is the app easy to use for Savage Worlds, but the developer of the app is super helpful when you have stupid technical problems like I do. Small caveat: saving to google drive seems useless. Email yourself character sheets if you want to open them on multiple devices with the least hassle! Still, overall a great app, and an awesome developer. A highly reccomended buy!

This app is great in theory, except that I can't get the first section of a basic character sheet built without the app crashing to home screen or saving corrupt files for my character sheet.

I play in heavily house ruled games and several different rule sets: D&D 3.5, AD&D 1e, WoD, PF, Qin... This app can be used for all of them. There is a slight learning curve but worth the night of messing around with it to figure it out. I would have been stuck using a pdf on my new tablet for my character sheets if not for this app. I can't believe this was so hard to find - when I bought my tablet I was assuming that there would be tons of character sheet apps out there like this but most of them are very limited or only work with a particular rule set. Then they don't alow for house rules and who has a game without house rules? I love the linking feature because I can link my special abilities, spells and items to on-line wiki to get more info as needed. Buy the app, mess with it for a few hours, and you can return it if you don't like it. I believe it's well worth the cost.

About this app

RPGenius lets you create and manage your own customized character sheets for tabletop (pen and paper) role playing games.
It allows you to define your own layout and game rules. No more inflexible software that produces the perfect character sheet until your gaming group deviates from core published rules.
* Define Stats; either basic numeric values, text, or calculated using a formula
* Define Effects, to toggle equipment/buffs/debuffs
* Define Stat Groups, to apply effects en masse and auto-create tables
* Create a matrix of two stat groups to auto-calculate Attribute/skill totals and the like. Display it as a grid or a pair of drop downs and include a modifier for all results (such as a wound penalty) if you like.
* Make temporary adjustments and reset them later, e.g. lose hit points then reset when healed
* Save your own templates for your preferred game system/house rules and re-use them later
* Customize the look and feel of the character sheet by using changing fonts and color schemes
* Add images from your device to show character portraits, system logos, etc
* Include links to websites, direct on the character sheet
* Share your character sheet by email, and import on another device just by clicking the attachment

The app ships with character sheet templates for DnD 3.5, Pathfinder, Star Wars D20, Vampire, Call of Cthulhu and Savage Worlds. The app allows you to create your own so it really can be used for any game system including homebrew/house rules.

On the website at https://sites.google.com/site/rpgeniusapp/ there is an Excel workbook you can use to quickly generate your own templates, to save having to type the names of all the stats on your Android device.

Feedback welcome by email.
