The St. Patrick's Society of Sabah, which has been in existence since 2011, organises the annual St. Patrick's Ball, the biggest St Patrick's Day celebration in Asia. Montoku Sabah also organises 36 parties across the state in places like the Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan, Ranau, Kudat, Tuaran, Keningau, Tambunan, Inanam, Sobog and UK.

(GAB) will treat pub-goers to a month packed with thrills and laughter as it hosts Malaysia’s biggest St Patrick’s Pub Crawl.

The inaugural pub crawl will be held on March 16 and 17 where 200 lucky fans will be entertained by some of Malaysia’s renowned comedians and buskers in a bus while heading to several pubs in Kota Kinabalu.

Guinnessman Malaysia also hosted of the biggest St Patrick’s Party in Asia last year.

“This year is no different and we are adding a new spin to the celebration.

“We hope the celebration will be bigger, better and bolder for all Montoku fans,” he said in his speech during the official launch of St. Patrick’s celebration at Gaya Utama in Kiansom, Sabah.

Selected winners will receive a special St Patrick’s kit consisting of two free pints of Guinness and an exclusive Pub Crawl T-shirt and will qualify for the “St Paddy’s Hunt”, a scavenger hunt game to be held during the pub crawl.

Malaysians can expect a series of St Patrick’s regional parties throughout Malaysia this month as well as the Guinness St Patrick’s three-day city-wide celebration from March 15 to 17 in more than 60 pubs in the Klang Valley.

To advocate sensible drinking during the celebration, Drink Sensibly ambassadors, the “Drink Sensibly Angels” will help consumers download the “Drink Sen-sible” mobile application which they can use to access information such as tips on drinking sensibly as well as a list of numbers for radio taxi service.
