About this app

Falante is an app designed to help people who have difficulty communicating through speech (Aphasia), which usually occurs due to a stroke, brain injury, tumor, or other illness.

The Falante app can use text-to-speech conversion technology present on his device or an online service to accomplish this task. If you use the online service, you can choose the voice that narrates the texts entered by the user.

The Falante app uses an artificial neural network that runs on your device to suggest the next word to be entered by the user, according to the most common daily tasks performed by people who have difficulty speaking. “I want to drink milk”, “Please call my doctor” , “I'm thirsty” and “Don't leave me alone” are among the phrases that were used during artificial neural network training.

Pictograms that indicate daily activities and feelings help the user to assemble the phrases dictated by the narrator.

A panel at the bottom of the screen contains common phrases that can be dictated directly by the narrator without typing.

Falante is 100% free and contains no ads or in-app purchases to unlock hidden features. For questions, criticism and suggestions, please contact the developer directly.
