I hope the Daikin management understands that the app, which is a critical part of their system, is the weak link in a Daikin HVAC system. I had a convention AC and furnace, controlled by a couple of Nest thermostats. When I installed the Daikin heat pump system, I had to change to the Daikin thermostats. I really like the HVAC system, and the thermostats are fine, but the app needs work. My app constantly loses my credentials, so I need to reinsert my username and password multiple times each week. If they can fix the app, listen to their customers, then they will have a good ecosystem. A small investment for a big return on future business.

I have used a Nest for years and loved it. I recently had my furnace and AC replaced with Daikin units which are excellent, but due to the replacement a Dakin One thermostat was installed in order to provide remote diagnostics etc. and I get all that. However the app and user interface with this thermostat is terrible and well below the capabilities of the Nest. The simplest things like changing temp are not easy. Setting up schedules does not work if you want the same temperature for both AC and the furnace, they force you to have a least a 2 degree difference. So now when we change over to the AC I will have to reprogram the schedule, this is nonsensical. I get that Daikin is not an IT company but they should of has someone capable write and implement their APP. I would not use this APP, if I didn't have to.

I have downloaded the app and created an account from my Android ( note 9) but was unable to actually log in! I have logged in with my iPads and wife IPhone. I have reinstalled app 3 times and have created another account and still can't log on. This app is not impressing me at all. I have call customer service and they are very nice but they have not been able to help at this time. If anyone knows what to do, please let me know

Update 05/18/21: over a year later and still no celsius in the Google home app. Please get your developers on this. App needs some serious work. Please take a look at how the google nest works. We changed to the Daikin one+ due to our new AC/Furnace. Why does the back button go back to the main menu? Please fix this. You should be able to adjust the temp from the main screen. I've linked it with Google home, but it only shows in Fahrenheit, and there is no option to switch to Celsius.

Keeps logging me out. Telling me my credentials have changed when they haven't. I login with the same credentials and it works until the next time it logs me out. Latest ui updates have been unnecessary. Seriously broken. I have 4 thermostats and not happy wth daikin one app.

I installed the app, linked with wi-fi etc and hit a roadblock with a code needed. I emailed Daikin support and they walked me through it successfully. The thermostat needed a software update and then the code appeared.
