Very dodgey, why does a dash Cam app need access to your contacts, SMS, phone and microphone?? And doesn't operate without providing these permissions.

It's okay. The settings menu should allow the adjust loop recording length as it's stuck at 3 mins only. Also app needs a setting to alow you to turn off time and date as every time you start the car, voice prompts ask you to sync the time and date which don't stop unless you sync your phone which can only be done manually. This is very annoying.

Why does this app require access to my contacts, SMS messages, etc? No where on the app Page does it state why it needs these privileges and the app cannot be used without them.

Great app and camera. Camera angle is a little bit narrow at 127°. Download videos to your phone is easy however it is lagging at times.
