Since update, I get a vibration for new messages, but the new messages do not appear unless I navigate away from the conversation and come back to it. Very annoying. Is there a way to use a previous version? I have tried restarting my phone and uninstalling/reinstalling the app. I have a pixel 3a. UPDATE: They fixed the issue with messages not loading. Overall the app still lacks some functionality that you would expect in a messanger (ability to send photos from mobile, ability to send vids)

Since the last update biometric fingerprint opening no longer works despite having the setting checked. Inconvenient to have to use the 4 digit code. Also new messages don't load unless you exit the conversation and re-enter, as others have said. Please fix asap!

Since the update I get a notice that I have a message, but have to refresh several times before any messages appear. Signing in takes alot longer too and no longer recognizes fingerprints.
