Pro tip: the 'I'm Safe' function should 1. let you program in next of kin numbers and 2. have a quick send button in the top right corner of the home screan. 3. allow you two create two standard responses for safe and in trouble. This little change would vastly increase the utility of this app as a means of emergency communication.

This app has been a helpful and surprisingly interesting learning tool in the area of weather alerts, hazards, and some other emergency safety topics. I would recommend checking out the app settings to test your knowledge on the hazard areas! A quiz-style format that is a fun way to both learn something new and confirm your earlier and/or existing safety knowledge!

in the hurricane test there's a major flaw, on question 4 it asks to select 3 out of the 4 options. Even when you try every combination (including the correct 3, which it reveals at the end of the test), and answered the other 4 questions correctly, it still tells you that you got question 4 wrong, other than that it's a good app.

minus 51 windchill in Winnipeg tonight. extreme cold warning. yet no alert! whats the point. i monitor california also for my daughter and they give "high wind" alerts. but nothing for winnipeg where you can die in 2 minutes of exposure. ..
