About this app

In a world where threats and tragedies are growing at an alarming rate, even public schools are no longer safe. What was once a safe environment for teachers, students,
and staff to express creativity and their passion for education, has now become a possible target for terrorist attacks.

Nevertheless, with the S.O.S. App, teachers and faculty can be more well-informed
about an on-campus threat. This can result in saving the lives of those on or near
the school premises. Such alerts, but not limited to could be: an active shooter,
bomb threat, or even a fire that could have erupted in the cafeteria/commons.

Teachers and faculty will also be able to have continuous communication with updates
between themselves until the situation has been resolved. With the SOS app, those
alerted could be given an opportunity to reach safety or know to stay away from the
given location; because any life saved is a win for us.
