The process for adding waypoints is poor, as it's very hard to place them correctly unless you are stood on the spot you wish to pin. You also can't add them without creating a "trip", which I can do easily on other apps. I was considering switching to this from Offline Maps, but it's poor by comparison. *Response to dev - you can tap anywhere but it's hard to place points accurately in your app. Also I know a trip can be created with the first waypoint, but I shouldn't need to.

I have been using this app since it was first released as bata and have watched it steadily improve. There is great map support and I love the online storage for my trips. As an added bonus it works well on my Chromebook which I use to preplan my ATV rides. I look forward to watching this app grow as new features are added.

I've used BCN PRO for 10+ yr. Because of labor intensive process to build maps only to loose. We seldom used.1+ yr. ago there didn't appear to be a better solution. Trying to get away from Garmin. Bought BCN XE gold running on S7+ tablet. Feel XE has potential but still labor intensive to use. Garmin had entire US / regions pre-loaded so much faster process. If BCN had map packs by state at the very least or S.E. pack that could download in 10 - 15 min. It's still evolving... Progress! Thanks

ORIGINAL: Immediately after signing up prepare for an asssload of spam emails. RESPONSE: OK. Based on your comment. I will connect with the help desk. It seems really strange that immediately after I set up an account that I started getting emails from random insurance companies. If this is not the case I apologize for falsely framing your app. I will follow up

I love this app, been using it for 2 years for backpacking. I really like being able to view and plan trips on my PC at home and see them on my phone. Easy to use off-line when there is no reception. Plenty of free maps available on the app to download. Well worth the subscription.

I was a Navigator Pro user for a long time and switched to Navigator XE. I like that I can create & modify trails online and have the trails available on my Tablet without having to manually transfer them as I had to with Pro. XE runs great on my Samsung tablet.
