I have used this app for several years roaming in the wilderness. It works well and is easy to use once you get familiar with it! I was thinking about getting a GPS back then and decided to try the app. I have never liked back! It works well and is a great value!

Limited number of maps without paying a subscription, which is forcing users to go to backcountry xe which is a yearly subscription.

Beware when buying - the app default map requires a subscription to download offline. You must spend time trying to figure out how to switch the maps in order to download offline... Developers do not want to make this easy for the buyers. Takes a long time to download offline and the interface is not user friendly. Good app but the developers need to improve the interface and advertising

Stopped working after phone update. Waiting on update

Currently my favourite hiking nav app. Feature Request: Multicolored/shaded track colors based on elevation, speed, etc. Recording the mobile signal strength would help to navigate back to a point where you could make an emergency call (for example).

This was a great app. I used the caltopo map pack, which i was subscribed to for $12 a year. However, this year, my subscription was renewed and i was charged despite the fact that they no longer provide the map pack im being charged for.
