This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing CrewRest on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Doesn't adjust for daylight saving time. Also needs an option to calculate times based on UTC.

What Happened to the Apple crew rest App one of the best I would pay for it on my android phone

This app would be perfect if it had the ability to round up/down to the nearest 5 mins. Still, a good app!

There should be an UTC option to enter the times, as all aviation flights operate on the same. Yesterday while using the app, it made an error of 1 hour in the rest allocation, as there was daylight savings in UK.

CrewRest is a simple airline crew rest/break application/calculator for determining rest periods for either flight attendants or pilots on long-haul international flights.

Features
- Pre-installed with over 100 major Destinations to immediately determine timezones to start a crew rest calculation.

- Ability to Add and Delete Timezones, create a Favorites list, perform mass or single edits of Destinations - network connection not required.

- Optionally calculate rest periods with consideration to Land Service (for flight attendants).

- Calculate two, three, four or five rest periods for a single flight.
- Preset rest period gaps of 5, 10 or 15 minutes.

- Or apply a custom gap period between each break - useful for mid-flight service.
