App does not work! What a waste!

Ok,I installed the application and it has become very obvious that there is an almost identical app from a different developer in the Play Store. This one however is working fine and the share and save options are working on this app. I love it and will deffinely make use of it. So why did I only gave⭐⭐⭐⭐ and not 5 if I like it that much? It sadly is the same old story ....advertising. Why is it not possible for developers to place adverts where they are least disruptive? I am not against advertising in free apps but please place them in a way that they do not interfere with the workflow. Also, why not offering a paid for app without the advertising? I would be more then happy to pay for an app that I like and where I can see myself working with on a more or less regular base. Should the developer take note of my review I would like him to get in touch with me to see if we could come to a mutual beneficial arrangement if he could supply an add free version.
