I just purchased the IceCap Gyre 2k and the wifi controller. This new app update is a great step in the right direction. I was using the previous software and it was less than ideal. The new software works nice better, but still needs a better UI and the settings are next to impossible for the normal user to understand.

This app is a piece of JUNK! In read only mode and no way of changing to get to menu to change mode. System is Not user friendly. Tried to uninstall and reinstall. Attaching to the net is a joke! Spent $300 I would expect it to work reliability. Fix this app.

After the latest update, the app is locked to read only mode for some reason. As far as i can tell theres no way to switch it back to normal from within the app. Great...

This app absolutely blows! If you haven't purchased these pumps yet, don't! I had them working and when they do, I like the pumps but no real controlability. Had to tun power off for maintenance. Spent hours trying to restore my settings on my 2) 4ks. Absolutely no success. Now they pumps are going 100% on my corals, tearing apart my torches and hammers. Would not recommend!

Mostly just says "waiting for status" as I stand in front of the tank with an excellent WiFi connection.. Not sure why it's having problems... a bit ridiculous. Would be great if it was just a local Bluetooth thing honestly.
