Never had any daily problems however the entire system has to be rebooted 1-2 times a year when something gets stuck or from an untimely update that jams things up. Staff at Control 4 does the rebooting remotely in a very timely manner. Overall, I am very impressed with this system and use it numerous times every day. The fact that they invest so much in updates is comforting to know and a sign of a well run company.

Love the new look!! Added lots of new features and information content while still keeping a clean simple look...Well done...Looking forward to selling and upgrading future systems. For the person that left a 1 star review I had the same issue at first but when I went to account settings and "checked in" the app synced right away. Small issue with auto "check in" after OS3 upgrade.

The absolute least efficient app I've ever had to use. Takes anywhere from 12 to 30 seconds just to refresh the most basic function. Most of the time it just cycles to no end. Tens of thousands of dollars for the backbone, and a useless interface. Back to using manual swishes. I recently bought a second home. I will definitely be looking for another option. Awful!!

Excellent app!!! Works very well. Some appear to have issues with it because their system is outdated or the setup was not done properly. We have had no issues with Control4 since 2015. If the app doesn't work for you, it's your system setup or hardware; not the app. Or if the app does not open fast it's your connection; not the app. Ours works very well and it opens instantly and we have many devices connected. Control4 has the best support on the market for automation. Android/Apple compatible

Much improved over the 2.x OS and app. It is customizable with per room wallpapers and favorites. The camera views are actual full screen when in landscape mode. Still no pinch-zoom like iOS has, but it is usable as opppsed to the 2.x series. Music control is much improved with the new sessions. Icons are better looking and rooms can be favorited for easy access.

Last update broke it. This app used to work well... Very convenient. However, the last update has rendered the app unusable. I'm on a Pixel 4 and now when I open the app, I can select watch TV, which used to bring up the controls for the remote. Now, it just brings up a blank screen with zero controls. It's completely useless now. UPDATE: Somehow the app is working again. I did not manually update the app. Not sure if an update was applied in the backend, or automatically, but all is well again.
