Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing connecDIM Lite on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. This app needs a lot of work. I've just tried using it to identify emergency devices on a DALI network and it's awful. I've just spent a lot of money on the connecDIM gateway and this app is not up to standard. I'd avoid the gateway if you have an android device.

About this app

Control Tridonic DALI Lights with a Tridonic connecDIM gateway.

Configure and setup your app to work, to control the areas you prefer. Label and name area's once in the connecDIM cloud, such as Hallway, Meeting Room, or Kitchen, and all users app's will synchronise. Once synchronised through the cloud, the names are available and the lights can be controlled off line.

Select and favourite DALI light groups, lines or addresses for control. Control the lights with scenes, on, off or arc level sliders.

DALI Tuneable White and Colour Control devices are supported.

Interact with the connecDIM cloud to restrict user access, or print QR codes that can be scanned to turn lights in your rooms on and off.
