I thought app was great, but there is no cloud or auto backup. Buying extension only gives you the ability to manually back up. After this review, the developer contacted me... yes it was user error that I didn't read all the documentation & lost my entire dive history when my phone was damaged. Use of the app seemed straight forward and I didn't feel I needed to read all the documentation. My bad. My loss. Maybe this review will save somebody else from the same fate.

Changed phone from LG V40 to LG V60 and cannot get any of my extensions or user data to transfer! Have been at this over an hour! Setting a user birthdate is, by far the biggest PITA I have ever seen! It defaults to Mach 17, 2018 then you have to tap the back arrow or swipe repeatedly until you get the date you need, in my case, all the way back to 1957!!! How hard would it be to make the data directly keypunch able, as it is for all the other user information!?! The app is great if you never change your phone, but heaven help you if you do!

Had an issue syncing my dive computer and reached out to the developer. He was able to fix the bug and update the app. After that, it worked great. I wish there weren't so many microtransactions, or it allowed me to share them with my family, but otherwise, I love the app.

I bought an extension package and I've been changed double. And still can't use data pack for which I've been changed twice. Be careful when ordering from divemate.

One of the better divelog apps and the one I primarily use. Some features that would make it even more awesome: 1. Add a "trip" field for dives and sub-group dives into trips in addition to just month. 2. Sub-group dive sites into region in addition to just country. 3. Possibility to set a default tank size/type 4. Possibility of picking DM from buddies catalog 5. A boat catalog similar to buddies 6. Statistics on dive sites, buddies. i.e. how many dives I have on a dive site/with buddy etc.

Do not install! This app has a Trojan.. if you lose your phone you've lost all your data as well, it doesn't come with a cloud connection - that's extra. Thing is there's no warning. I'd understand if they'd start charging after allowing the first couple of logs free, but this isn't good enough. I don't mind paying, I've purchased the interface to get the logs from my dive computer. I've no way to get my dive logs back. DISAPPOINTED.
