This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing QRing on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Instead of disclosing your precious personal data, such as name, address and phone number, attach a personal QR code to things and pets you own. If you lose them, thanks to QRing you can be contacted by those who find them. Anonymously.

Expose your personal QR code on your luggage, your pet's tag, your car, your documents, on the back of your smartphone or laptop, inside your wallet... wherever you want. You can even hand your personal QR code over to children, the elderly, sick or handicapped people, if you are afraid they might get lost.

You can use QRing even if you don't have the login credentials, as you can use the app to scan other people's QR codes to communicate with them anonymously.
