This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing ACS Tampa on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

The ACS Tampa app provides a bunch of fun and useful features for American Cancer Society supporters in the Tampa Bay area!

There are five main navigation buttons across the bottom:

Updates: where you can see all the latest news in one place. The My Profile “action button” appears in the top right which is where you can mange personal information and add and search for friends to connect with in the app.

My Groups: where you can form, join, and participate in groups. Once inside a group, note that there are group features like: Activity where all group notices are posted, Photos where group members can share photos, Members where all members can be viewed and new ones invited, and Info on the group itself. As you navigate to different areas, note that the “action button” in the top right changes for you to do stuff in this group area.

Events: where you can see ACS Tampa events where you can participate in scavenger hunt games and earn points for awards.

Deals: where you can access deals and coupons from our business sponsors!

Messages: where you can communicate with other ACS folks and groups in the app. Note the search “action button” in the top right allows you to search for other app users.

At any time, you can easily jump over to the ACS FUNdraising app by touching the banner at the bottom of the pages.

The ACS Tampa app provides a bunch of fun and useful features for American Cancer Society supporters in the Tampa Bay area! With a new look, the app now tracks many of the upcoming ACS Tampa events where you can participate in scavenger hunt games and earn points for awards.

App Permissions

Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
