I love this app! The colors and simple interface make quick journaling a pleasurable experience and the color changes and prompts make getting deeper into writing easy! The optional prompts feature encourages going deeper by asking for clarification or further development based on a previous entry. It's a little strange at first to know that an app can read your entries and ask relevant questions based on what its read, but it is a great tool for exploring concepts in the journal.

So far so Good. I'm still exploring all the features before deciding if I want to keep the app on my phone and pay to upgrade. I did send a comment in via the app itself. After exploring the app I'm wondering if there is a way to change the entry backgrounds? I like the idea of gradient entries but starting off with green...not a fan of green. It's a small question. Overall the app seems to be great!

I adore this app. I have a bad habit of deleting apps shortly after downloading them, but this is one I always come back to. And every time I redownload it, it's even better! The updates always add such nice and handy tools! EDIT: I started the free trial and set a pin, and whenever I have the app set with a pin the app crashes and refuses to open. Not a huge issue, but I'd like to have the ability. Had to adjust from five stars to four for the inconvenience. Still love the app!

I really like this app for journaling on my phone, and it's probably the one I've used the most. This most recent update has introduced a few issues, such as the lack of the enter key mentioned, far longer load time when opening, and on "view all entries" everything I've written since the update has a white background instead of the colored ones (and thus is functionally illegible due to white text). Aside this, I do enjoy and recommend this app; the colors and general setup are very enjoyable.

Writeaday, makes journaling easier by lowering the mental barrier to writing. Its beautiful UI and ease of use facilitate its (excellent) model of multiple short updates throughout the day, with color gradients subtly indicating progress. Like the author, I prefer this sort of incremental journaling, and few other apps do it as well. Its one of the best Android journaling apps, but its biggest shortcoming is a lack of export to other formats (though it does backup to Google Drive). I'd like a ChromeOS/web version, too, but that's a whole new project.

I really wanted to love this app. The design is basic yet sleek, and customizations are generous. It's fully functional in the free version, with paid being reasonable. The tag feature is great also. Unfortunately, it's aimed more at microjournaling with less support for longer posts. After a certain amount of length in one post, you have to go into edit mode (or view all mode) to read all of it. Adding images to posts is clunky as well and make posts look messy.
