What exactly is “zero waste”? It’s a lifestyle according to which people are trying to cut down on generating the waste to minimum not to contaminate the environment. It’s a necessary change for every inhabitant of our planet Earth. Why is that so? Scientists say that we’ve got around 12 years to stop the climatic changes on our planet to which we contribute every day. The switch into less wasteful lifestyle is the most important step we could take as an individual. It’s not true that this step is small or it won’t change a thing! If you change your habits, it’ll have a great positive impact on our planet, yourself and even your wallet. If there are so many advantages, why don’t just start? Yes, it’s true that this requires some kind of courage and time, but it is really worth it! Every person produces on average 600 kg of rubbish a year. How much rubbish will stay on our planet forever? And how much will remain floating on the surface of the oceans? Believe us that zero waste lifestyle will make you feel better on the Earth. Let’s finally start loving this place we all live on – our planet and let’s save it together! The objectives of our app are to make you aware of a few steps you can take to become a Zero Waste Hero and to motivate you. You can collect the everyday zero waste activities you undertake by tapping the icons on the right side of the homepage of the app. Also, when you tap the icon of a strongman on the toolbar, you can see how many kilograms of plastic you have already saved and how many small, but very important steps you have undertaken to help the environment. Just stick to these rules of zero waste lifestyle: 1. Refuse. 2. Reduce. 3. Reuse. 4. Rot. Act, because there’s nothing more important! Let’s stop killing million sea animals every year with our rubbish! And let’s stop contributing to the greenhouse effect. Instead of concentrating on ourselves, let’s combine our efforts to rebuild our planet for us, our children and the future generations. We must remember that “there’s no planet B”!
