About this app

This is a replacement launcher (home screen) for tablets that will be running the Ocean Wave application in medical clinics. It hides all applications on the tablet except the Ocean Wave application to help prevent patients from misusing the tablet. It also makes it easy to relaunch the Ocean Wave if a patient accidentally hits the home button.

After installing, touch the home button on your tablet. It will ask you whether to use the standard Android launcher or the OceanWaveLauncher. Touch the latter and then click "always".

If you want to go back to the standard launcher, go into your tablet's settings panel, pick the Ocean Wave Launcher in the app list and press the "Clear defaults" button under "Launch by Default" heading. The next time you hit the home button, it will prompt you to choose your launcher again.

If you get stuck, just uninstall the Ocean Wave Launcher from the apps list in the settings panel and reinstall.
