This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing OV flex on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

App doesn't work at all. The service via telephone is good. The telephone number is in the app.

App looks nice. It seems like a good mockup. But it doesn't work. No driver shows up and there is no feedback at all in the app. Even an hour after the scheduled time it still says the my trip/ reservation is accepted, but that's all there is. It's a unreliable system that will just take your time and leave you waiting in the cold.

Couple of times it worked perfectly...but yesterday evening I booked for this morning. Ride is shown in app, but no driver got assigned, I called and apparently "I" canceled. My app told me differently, so there was no way for me to know my ride wasn't coming :(. Thus from now on I'll have to call every time to make sure a ride is coming.

I don't have bad experience with the app but the whole system behind it. I got no driver available message even when I was sitting next to him in the car. You cannot count on the service at all. Contacting them via phone is also not a solution because they are not given more information than me.

Bad app. If your trip is not accepted you cannot cancel either. It can really messes up your schedule and can get stuck for several minutes. Telephone lady nice but also could not help. Overall less than one star.

OV flex is an ‘on-demand’ transport service which offers comfortable, economic and sustainable transport from bus stop to bus stop. You decide which bus stops, not according to a timetable, but wherever you want to travel within the areas we service.

How does it work?

You can order your journey via the free OV flex app. Enter your name and address, choose the region within which you’ll travel the most and off you go! You book a seat with OV flex, not a complete vehicle. So there’s always a chance that other passengers will join and/or leave the vehicle, as long as your delivery time won’t be extended beyond what we had initially estimated.


How do I pay?

You can pay easily by linking your bank account or credit card with your account in the app. You can also pay in the vehicle with your OV chip card, debit card or credit card. We don’t accept cash payments.
