After installing this on every new or old device I have, I've decided either the tuner itself has a Bluetooth problem or the app is incapable of functioning. I cannot connect to the tuner at all. Ever. Over the 4 years and many devices I've had. The tuner seems to work with my exhaust and intake upgrades pretty quick, but the Bluetooth connection is non-existent. . . . The tuner is a decent bolt on. The app is hilarious. All permissions allowed. Every device. Nada. Nothing. LMAO

Not a very stable app. Needs work. It took an hour to figure out to connect in all and Not in Bluetooth settings. That would be an easy warning to put in. Then next day tried again and stuck in "retrieving data". All the tech could tell me is a couple of customers said this or that worked. Finally went to app settings and cleared data, then reset all permissions to on. Now it seems to work. It will not work without all permissions set to on. Only adjustments are for modified engines, cams etc.

After trying and spending a lot of time trying to get the phone ,Galaxy Note 10, to allow the app to turn on Bluetooth while this app was running I simply got a Galaxy s5 to run as a dedicated programmer. As others have stated the app needs to be updated to work with current phones or clearly list this app will not work for newer phones and be honest.

Its ok but I don't like the fact you have to have your GPS on for it to work. I know where I'm at and I know where my bike is. Seems like when I dont have it on it reverting back to stock settings. Plus before I added this I was hitting about 42 to 47 mpg, now I'm getting about 37ish mpg. I have gone through all the instructions and watched a few utube videos. For $400 plus this should be better. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't work, and keeps asking for a PIN. I called Cobra, who said there is no PIN, and to go into my settings and turn all allowances to on, and still no luck. The only time I ever got it to connect, it got stuck 'retrieving data'. The red light is on when my VTX1800 runs, but after messing with the app it is still asking for a pin. I cannot make changes, or monitor what the PowrPro Black is doing, if anything at all. Cobra, you need to fix this problem. Try updating your app.

2009 Victory Jackpot 106cu. Installed the cobra powrpro black application and it definitely needs work. Bugs in the software are heavily prevalent. If you want to use the software, you have to manually enable ALL permissions {on Android phones} in order to connect. After adjusted fuel controller settings and saved to device, the previous settings don't seem to be saved or retrieved in the application. so you don't really know whether it updated the device or rolled back the settings. Terrible.
