Overall useful, however kinda mehhh.... would be super if you could "ADD A PIN" to your locations, kinda like MOST other weather app's?!? The radar feature is pretty decent with some cool features and the ONE feature of the app user's can actually trust! So there's your 3 stars...I do realize we live in the BEST STATE EVER (FL) and the weather can change in short order, however the "certified meteorologist forecasting" is just plain awful! Gettin' paid 100% to be right 30% of the time is LIT!

Some trouble getting the radar portion of the app to work. Map shows, but not the storm systems when there's a severe storm warning/watch

Love to watch the radar, it helps out a lot when my husband and I are out on our motorcycle 🏍 rides, helps know where the summer storms are so we can avoid them.

About this app

Chief meteorologist Tom Terry and WFTV Channel 9’s team of certified meteorologists have produced the most accurate, local weather technology available with the WFTV Channel 9 Weather App.

This free, 24/7 app is constantly updated with the latest storm and forecast information for the Orlando and Central Florida areas. Plus watch live coverage of Eyewitness News and the WFTV meteorologists in Severe Weather Center 9 right on your mobile device.

By using the app’s built-in interactive radar, you can zoom down to your neighborhood, including Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties, or zoom out to check radar anywhere in the country. Location based storm alerts will direct you to the latest severe weather warnings.

The WFTV Weather App focuses on complete Central Florida weather coverage for WFTV viewers and News 96.5 listeners.
