I use this when in Slovakia as thunder storms can appear very quickly up in the mountains with no forewarning. My only suggestion would be to change the app to just taping anywhere on the screen as your preoccupied looking at the sky (and not at your phone). Press once for the flash and another for when you hear the thunder. Much simpler :) Also the ability to keep the screen awake whilst using the app as it will go off as per your settings.

D lightning button functioned very well.. D thunder sound button didn't
function at all.. However, it is a very nice n useful apps for me since i'm
a lifeguard swimming coach..

Simple to use to measure distance to lightning. Gives both miles and km's.
Tap for flash, tap again when you hear thunder.
