As much as I like Ionity and the fast charging, I still can't activate the chargers with this app. it worked for a few months and then it quit on November 10, 2022. I've been reporting the issue but as of February 2023, there is still no fix. I'm paying the monthly service, but in order to charge, I have to call my wife who activates the chargers remotely from her iPhone. It's outrageous.

1) Onboarding UX fail. Because other methods (itsme) didn't work when onboarding the app, i had to scan a QR code. That was displayed on my phone. With the app. Yes... So i had someone take a picture of the QR code that i then could scan with my banking app. Noice... 2) Receipts are not mailed. Email verification works fine. Checked spam folders etc obviously. No receipts... 3) I give one star because after 4 or 5 tries i eventually succeeded in getting my car charged.

Easiest EV charging station to use once you are registered. A someone traveling across Europe I hate that most stations require apps and are not that easy to follow but this one is the easiest and most accessible in Germany I have found.

This app simply doesn't work properly - it permanently shows I am charging when I am not and I am tired of not being able to start a charge from the app. Just doesn't work.

Downloaded the app, tried to register credit card for payments, failed 4 times. Used QR code, failed as well. Card been charged one of charging fee. No receipts received. Called customer centre, not a lot of help either.

Super happy with IONITY. The first time I came across them was at Cullompton service station on the M5, after being stuck on the motorway for hours I had only 7% left on my battery & Cullompton was the first services after the motorway reopened to traffic. Downloaded the IONITY App but couldn't get it to work (I'm panicked 7% left & 170 miles to get home), I phoned the IONITY helpline & they gave me a full charge to get me home for free. I've been a happy loyal customer ever since 👍👍👍👍👍.
