This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Clean Streets Accra on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

About this app

Clean Streets Accra, is Ghana’s first streets mapping, data collection, information, and service request app. This app and web interface is an integrated system, developed using Open Data tools to advance and allow for smooth operations of the sanitation departments of government institutions and waste management companies to keep the city of Accra clean.

With the “Map Street” feature, you can easily and quickly map any street in Accra and tag it as “Clean”, “Somewhat Clean” or “Not Clean”. This data is then displayed on the OpenStreetMap on our website and color-coded green, orange (umber) and red, respectively.

The “Create Service Request” feature also allows you to request clean up services and to report incidents that need investigation by the appropriate authorities. Such requests include refuse pickup, potholes repair, illegal discharge of water, uncompleted service requests and so on.

No more waste of time and resources. Waste management companies and government institutions responsible for sanitation will not waste precious time and resources looking for dirty streets in Accra to clean any longer. With the data collected, time and resource allocation for cleaning the streets are now more efficient and effective than ever.
