About this app

The exhibition retraces the long journey between east and west from the 7th to the 14th centuries AD, with reconstructions of four iconic cities: Chang'an, the capital of the Chinese Tang Dynasty; Turfan, an oasis city in the Gobi Desert; Samarkand, a major centre of and culture; and Baghdad, capital of the Muslim world . An Italian section explores the relationship between certain Italian cities, particularly Venice and Genoa, and the Far East.

The application also provides you with all the information you'll need on the exhibition venue and its history, with interactive maps showing you how to get to the Palazzo dell Esposizioni, and a chance to share your content on all of the main social networks.
