Since Writing Prescription for a patient is the basic requirement which if is illegible or unreadable can cause havoc, the first software developed by the CompuRx was state of the art Prescription writing software called “PRESCRIPTION PAD”. The software is being used by thousands of doctors all over INDIA but to make it affordable to every prescribing doctor even in villages, CompuRx has launched ANDROID based prescription writing software which can be downloaded on any Android Tablet or Phone and prescriptions can be generated & printed through Wifi printers. This is an important step toward the goal of providing better patient engagement and more mobile healthcare in INDIA.
The ability to gather and access information with the touch of a fingertip, and carry it around wherever you go is invaluable for those working in health sector. With the introduction of calling TABLET & mobile connectivity distance has lost its meaning. CompuRx has launched Android based Tele-consultation & Video-conference enabled prescription writing software also to help connect Specialists in cities with lesser qualified doctors/practitioners in villages which may help in stopping quackery & benefit general public also.
There are following versions of prescription writing software for ANDROID.
1. Prescription Pad (Basic Version): You can generate any number of prescriptions of a patient under one UHID (unique hospital identification number) & can take its printout by Wifi printers. The software does not contain any database in the background but you can build up your own database by entering complaints, disease name, drug or brand names & investigations names gradually while writing prescriptions & this database would be available to you during subsequent prescriptions i.e. the software allows you free writing to build your own database.
2. Prescription Pad Version: In this version you have preloaded database for complaints, diseases, drugs / brands & for investigations and you can choose the required record while writing prescriptions. You can add any new complaint/investigation/disease or brand also if it is not available in the database which would be stored in the software for future use.
Trial Version of the Prescription Pad Pro & Basic Version is for evolution purpose only and restricted for a use of 30 days or 200 Prescriptions whichever comes earlier.
3. Health Tablet for prescription writing: This is a fully loaded ANDROID TABLET of a reputed Indian company with prescription writing software along with 24 other applications of medical importance which are of use to practitioners in their day-to-day practice. Apart from the above mentioned features of Prescription Pad Pro version the Prescription writing software in “HEALTH TABLET” has ability to save all investigations of a patient as well as his x-rays, CT scans & other images in chronological order and can maintain complete EMR. There are hoards of other useful features which makes it more than worth the cost.
4. Health Tablet for Video-conference & Tele-consultation: This has all the above mentioned features of a “HEALTH TABLET” plus Video-conferencing & Tele-consultation facility. Through this tablet you can establish your own multiple Tele-consultation centers or can join the CompuRx’s pool of doctors for tele-consultation with remotely placed clinics or clinicians.
