Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Signage on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

CipherDS is a self serve digital signage system. Use CipherDS portal to quickly build and broadcast beautiful promotions to counter display pads, large TV screens and huge road side billboards.

Install the CipherDS App:

it will take a while for the CipherDS App to download the pictures and videos for the coffee template, CipherDS will auto run after download completed.

Items required to complete your digital signage:
1. minimum 1 logo 410x80 pixels
2. minimum 6 ticker pictures 334x424 pixels
3. minimum 2 slideshow pictures 926x519 pixels
4. minimum 2 title and message
5. minimum 1 Powered by line

6. video file is optional
7. TV signal is optional

8. CipherTV STB is required to turn large TV into signage

CipherDS is a Launcher and it is programmed to self launch and always on. To force stop CipherDS, click on the 3 vertical dots for Android Settings, select Apps, CipherDS, force stop.

the login info is cached in the local Android device after your first login, to clear the login info and all the CipherDS locally cached data/video etc., go to Android Settings, Apps, CipherDS, force stop, clear data.

After the cached data are cleared, you will required to supply login name and password to login to a different display template.

CipherDS App works reliable on CipherTV STB. CipherDS may or may not work with other Android devices. For reliable digital signage service please order CipherTV STB to run your promotions.
