This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sound Control on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Would be great if it worked properly. Status says no profile active but it should be as I'm connected to the specified WiFi AND in GPS zone. Volumes don't seem to change when in work or home GPS zones. I bought the full version so I could add a second GPS location but it wouldn't work until I had restarted the phone a couple of times. Then didn't change volumes when in and out of zones anyway!

About this app

Sound Control is a service that can event-based control the volume of your phone or tablet. The service can change the volume level based on WiFi networks, the current location, the charging status and much more, so that you never need to use the volume keys of your device again!

GENERAL:
I'm sure you are familiar with the following situation: You are about to fall asleep, you get another message and of course you forgot to turn your phones volume off. Or are you at work, in the library or in the cinema and your mobile phone is answering an unsolicited call? With Sound Control, all these situations will soon be a thing of the past.

TOP FEATURES:
• Create different profiles that can be automatically activated by WiFi networks, Bluetooth devices, locations, time ranges and the current charging status.
• Set Apps and Contacts that are allowed to contact you even in Silent Mode
• Control each volume (call, media, alarm clock) independently of each other
• Create (work) profiles which can only be disabled manually
• Disable the service automatically when a headphone is connected

PRO VERSION
In the free versions, all features of the app are available to you. However, some of them are only available in a limited number. If you want to use all features for an unlimited period of time, you can initiate the payment process (€2.69) within the app.
