I'll still give it 5 stars because in love the idea and execution of it. Just wish it had some more photos for the descriptions and then small maps

Simply put, do NOT waste your time with any of the Chimani apps. They are useless without the 'offline' maps due to no cell coverage in the parks. That is the problem. NONE of the maps will download! It simply hangs up and often locks up your phone and/or reboots it. TERRIBLE app.

I waited with my screen on for 2 hours for the maps to download and it was only at 48%.( my internet is 20mbps) The app lags on my nexus 10 and my nexus 4.

Don't bother downloading offline map, it never completes. Developer did not respond to my inquiry either.
