I am proud to say that the Chillzie will be made in America. Specifically, it will be manufactured in my hometown in central Pennsylvania. Last year after 189 years, a major clothing manufacture moved its operations overseas, leaving a talented but unemployed work force. Over the years, a number of my relatives worked there including my mother, three aunts and numerous cousins. The Chillzie will be lovingly made by trained seamstresses, many of which have 20, 30 or even 40 years of experience. The quality and workmanship of the Chillzie is something that the whole community will take great pride in.

Environmentally-conscious consumers will also receive the peace of mind knowing that the Chillzie is made from recycled plastic water bottles. Each yard of the U.S.A. made material contains about 10 plastic bottles worth of recycled material. This material is so unique it has two granted patents.

You may asked what makes this different than using a paper towel, well it's all about the material! This unique double patented fabric is actually made of a bi-component knit construction that uses different yarn on either side of the fabric. This creates two different surfaces. The inner layer is designed to rapidly collect water with a large yarn capillaries. While the outer layer is made of many fine capillaries which drastically increases the surface area of the material.

No batteries to replace, no electronics to break, there is nothing to plug in, the Chillzie is built to last for years and years.

The Chillzie is easy and simple to use. You first wet the Chillzie with water and wring out any excess liquid. You then place the Chillzie around the beverage and lay the whole container in the freezer. Using the Chillzie smart phone app, you select your beverage and it automatically populates the ideal temperature for your beverage. You start the timer and the alarm alerts you when your beverage is chilled. These times are calculated using a mathematical formula I created. It is important that you properly set the correct starting temperature of the beverage. This is how you will get your beverage closest to the ideal drinking temperature. To begin with, you want to aim to have your beverage approximately three degrees to the ideal temperature.

For the first several times using the Chillzie on a beverage, I recommend chilling it several degrees more. That way you can taste the beverage's range of flavors and notes and you can find what temperature/time you like it best. At the end of the day, this isn't about temperature, it's about taste. The Chillzie finally gives you the tools to quickly take control of your beverage drinking experience. Because you should always drink your beverages at the temperature you enjoy most.
