Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Cultivate on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

About this app

The Cultivate App allows you to follow and discover what is going on at the Festival. You can view the event schedule and detailed event pages which help you decide which events to attend.

Every participating restaurant is featured in the App. You can view the details of these on the Love Local Food tab. All of the restaurants offer a local dining experience with locally produced ingredients.

The Festival News tab allows you to catch up on all the Festival news through its Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. There will be regular updates throughout the Festival.

Through the My Passport tab you can create a Cultivate account which allows you to collect stamps and points for each qualifying event or establishment that you visit during the Festival. To get the points you simply need to complete a very short rating of your experience. An account is not essential for using the app - it is only necessary when collecting points and providing ratings.
