Convenient and nice with two issues. First, it is slow to connect and often doesn't connect when my phone switches from data to wifi or to another wifi. I hve to close the app and reopen. Second, My commercial doors have a mid stop feature so they only open half way. On the app they never get feedback that they are open, so it just keeps saying it is opening for a couple minutes until it times out and gives me an error message. I have to wait for that until I can close it again.

Works great with proper WiFi! Complaints about delayed notifications are remedied by setting phone's battery restrictions to "unrestricted" for this app in android app settings. All video devices need strong WiFi for uninterrupted stream & weak signal will also cause rapid battery drain as it has to search for a good connection. With proper placement of the Extender (ABOVE the steel door leading out to my garage) I get 2 months battery life, perfect video, and a 2nd battery provides quick swap.

It was very difficult to set up. It also doesn't make sense that co-owners only get a fraction of the access that owners do. Whoever downloads the app first in your household is the lucky one. Don't get a myQ device if you have an option. Edit: This app is horrible. I'm lucky to go a day without the app going offline or just not controlling the door when I click the button. Do yourself a favor and never by a myQ garage opener.

I was added to a "shared" home. I can toggle the drop down and switch to the shared device, but it just spins and never loads the controls. Already un-installed and reinstalled, no change. I cleared cache/data, logged back in, and no change. Seems this issue has been going on for the better part of a year according to Redit... Will not be investing more into this company until they can get current features working.

Nice looking and the camera feature has great potential. Sadly, battery life, not so great and recharging is not as easy as it should be as far as having to remove before charging. Also, subscription fees for a single camera isn't worth it when there isn't a broad number of other devices to integrate. Also single door only operation from what is supposed to be a new and more advanced unit. Regrettable purchase. Thankfully it was somewhat inexpensive.

Hub disappeared from app after latest update. Now I need to pull out a ladder and resetup everything. Also, they introduced tap and hold to open your garage door. This feature never worked no matter how many times you set it. The garage door would open with a tap, even though the setting was tap and hold. They need some acceptance testing for updates.
