This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BigBlu Substratum Theme on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

My kind of theme it's got everything I don't know why the rest of the people that make things don't do it just like this I know they used to, excellent theme I would recommend it to anyone.

I tried on my Samsung galaxy S8 plus 955u, all went well for about an hour before Android system started having problems. I read the description and knew what I was getting myself into. I just felt like trying it out. Cool theme. Even if I can't use it for long, It still deserves 5 stars.

This theme deserves 5 stars, but I can't use it until it updates for android 10 support, so until then 3 stars is all it's getting.

This is a great theme overall but when I pay, I want everything to work decently well enough. But here, the notifications and lock screen is hardly readable on pixel 3. It's white text on a very light bg. And that's the only choice on Android pie. Then, there are compile errors by default where I left everything default (selected the pie version) and it failed to build many overlays. I ended up applying only the ones it could compile. Edit: whatsapp groupinfo FCs whatsapp. Dev never replied.

Awesome theme . Have owned it for a long time . Always dependable , updated when others aren't . This is one theme thats quality and classy . cerj , is there any chance you might consider adding Google Voice to the theme ? Voice has been updated by Google to replace hangouts as the true wifi calling app .Please give it consideration . It's the only missing main staple app for me .

The best Subtratum theme. I use rootless. LgV30. So many apps are themed, the system look remarkable. Most important you get updated appa more frequently than others I've tried. I just can't theme LG's dialer or contacts. It's still 5 🌟 without it working on my dialer. I freaking love it. Thanks Big Blu. Your my boy Blu.

About this app

Welcome to BigBlu, a Unique Custom Theme for the Substratum Theme System. Using Black, Dark or Transparent backgrounds and Blue accents, BigBlu will transform your device, and theme some of your favorite apps. Big Blu gives you the option to choose from multiple buttons, or no buttons at all, and they will show throughout the theme and across many themed apps. Just choose the button you want when enabling the Android System overlay and your ready to go.

It may work on Stock but is not set up to theme all of the stock resource

☆ IMORTANT☆

Samsung users, BigBlu may theme some of your user apps, but this theme is meant to run on its own framework for AOSP and CM based roms, it was never built for TW. Thank you

For Nougat you need to be on a rom that has all the latest OMS commits for this theme to fully work.

Please use the BigBlu Android System Overlay to get the best overall experience. BigBlu was made to run on its own Framework. Go thru the list and check the correct overlay choices for your rom, if you have any issues, choose the other choice in the overlay list.

BigBlu is tested on and fully supports N7.1.1-Oreo 8.1.0 - DU, RR, Screwd, AICP, GZR Roms, AEX, Aosip, Havoc, FireHound, MSM Xtended, OwnROM, LR, Franken, and CM14-15 using the Substratum Theme System. BigBlu should work across many different roms and devices. If you have any issues after applying the theme, please use the Substratum Rescue zip or the Substratum Rescue Legacy zip. You can also go into recovery and navigate to the .substratum folder and delete the " current_overlays.xml " or the individual overlay that is causing issues in data/app and reboot.

☆For Gboard to theme use v6.1.171 or lower and choose Material Dark. If you want my buttons/keys to show enable key borders in settings☆

Installing After installing Big Blu allow the Substratum app to completely build the themes cache. This theme has Over 100 apps themed and it will take a few to fully install.

Updating If you run into any issues while updating Big Blu or any other Substratum Theme, Un-Install the theme and clear the Substratum apps cache and data. Give all permissions to the Substratum app and Re-Install the theme.
