Best British voice for e-book reading. I chose Jess because of all the British voices, she seemed the least lispy or burbley, which is fatiguing when listening to a whole book. Previously, I was using Ivona Amy.

Jess is my girl. She's by far my favorite CereProc voice. Her voice is smooth and easy to listen to. The best part is that she's British so she sounds super sexy to a dumb American like me. :)

As a person who uses accessibility features a lot, this app is amazing. Of course there's room for improvement (compared to Google s voice). Sounds very natural and realistic. And, a tip for new users :if you find the voice irritating /unnatural try adjusting the speech rate, that solves it. Cheers

Jess is a fabulous voice! The voice is very pleasant to listen to. It works fabulously with TalkBack on my Sony and Nexus phones. One of my favorite TTS voices of all-time!

About this app

CereProc has developed the world's most advanced text to speech technology. Our voices not only sound real, they have character, making them suitable for any application that requires speech output.

This voice can synthesize:
* Navigation directions from Scout while driving
* Accessibility information with Talkback
* Twitter, Facebook and newsfeeds with iHearNetwork
* Your favourite eBook from eBook reader apps
* Your SMS with apps like Handcent SMS or Drive Carefully
* and many other TTS-enabled apps

Please note that for some applications such as Scout, we recommend installing on a device with at least a 1GHz processor.
