A wonderful text-to-speech voice for reading ebooks aloud. Very pleasant to listen to and about as natural as the technology currently allows. Recommended! SETUP: To set it up, you need to go into your phone's settings and not only choose this voice, but also make sure that you have added English (UK) as one of your system languages. It won't work if you've set some other region's English as the only system language.

Nice to have a natural voice with a bit of character vs the default annoyingly neutral voices. The sound is far from clean though, frequent crackles. Bearable for short messages, not good for listening to long texts. (Samsung S10e)

There is something incredibly sexy about this voice. Makes me want to get a Scottish girlfriend. 4 stars because of the slight intermittent crackling, will happily change to 5 stars if fixed via update! Huawei P20 Pro

the app is great, but requires external storage. if, like me, your SD card is set as internal memory, it won't work.
