About this app

The Carnegie Events app brings together Carnegie’s global events programing schedule, registration, webcasting, archived video of previous events and new interactive features such as integrations with Twitter, surveys and polls that allow anyone to consume and engage with Carnegie events in real time, wherever they are located.

Registration. To register for events within the app, the user first creates a profile within the app. Once the profile is created, event registration is a “one-tap” process. Update profile information in the app at any time.

Add to Calendar. Add events to your personal calendar by tapping the “View in Calendar” button.

My Schedule. Customize the events displayed in the events feed using the My Schedule feature. Select events for My Schedule by tapping the My Schedule icon in the left of any event in the main list view (or the Add to My Schedule button at the bottom of any event), then tap the My Schedule filter at the bottom events feed to display only events tagged to My Schedule. Tap All Events to display all events in the Events feed.

Live streaming. Access and play live-streamed programming (where sufficient connectivity to the internet is available). When a webcast video player is available, the app replaces the event image with the video player. In the events feed, a “watch live” icon will appear in the lower right corner of the event list item to indicate which events will be webcast live.

Carnegie Live content. The Carnegie Events app is integrated with the Carnegie Live YouTube channel to provide access to previous Carnegie webcast events. Tap the TV icon in the upper left corner of the app when in the main list view to reveal a list of all previous Carnegie event webcasts in reverse-chronological order.
