About this app

The Side Collision Avoidance For Safety Driving application detects other users of this app that are heading to the same point of intersection and alerts them about a potential collision. The more people are using this application the better are chances of receiving alerts.

Two versions of the application are available:
Free version: Shows GPS speed. Display approximate distance to potential collision point in alert mode.
Pro version: In addition to the free version shows other's vehicle speed and direction. The Map View shows where the other user is coming from in real-time. The subscription enables the Pro version.

How it works: when two or more drivers have the Side Collision Avoidance For Safety Driving app running on their smartphones in their vehicles, which are heading to the intersection point, and one of the drivers miss the red light, stop/yield sign, etc., for whatever reason, both drivers in the best case may be notified about potential collision event beforehand and avoid property damages, injures, etc. The application sends the smartphone's location via mobile networks to the cloud server for processing. If critical conditions are determined, the app receives event information and alerts the user.

Since road safety is important to all participants, the application should be used not only by car, bus, or truck drivers but also by motorcyclists or bicyclists to improve their 'visibility' and safety on the road.

*Tip: For long trips, plug the smartphone into a car charger to avoid battery discharge.
