I really wanted this to work. Camera looks well built . I spent a good portion of the day trying to get the APP to work with the camera . It will not work . The app is useless and without the APP the camera is useless. Unless there is another APP that can be used . I'm going to return the dash camera . All the reviews speak volumes . Cobra you need to fix your APP before you sell devices that rely on the APP. It has wasted all our time .

Every time I need to use it it says camera out of range, then I have to delete and add the camera back. Then half the time it says connecting to camera access point, the other half of the time it says that it already is camera #1 and will not let me do anything. I can guarantee that if you need to pull up some footage on the spot it will not work. You have to remove the micro sd, take it in the house and put it into a computer. The SC201 is a great camera but the app is useless and that was a huge selling point for me. If you feel you might need video on demand or at the scene of an incident, my advice to you is skip Cobra for now. Looking at most of their generic to all copy pasta replies to us Galaxy users tells me that they won't have a fix coming anytime soon. Good luck.

The app doesn't work. I have called customer service multiple times with no help on the issue concerning the app. It won't load the videos or keep settings. Auto surveillance doesn't hold the settings therefore shutting the camera off prematurely. I purchased the camera because of certain functions the app was to provide. The app should be updated it's useless at this point.

An update was released. After deleting my vehicle/camera and adding the app now automatically connects to the camera when the app is opened. I can live view over wifi. When cycling thru tabs the camera resets the recording with each change. I also have no internet access when on wifi, even w/ my phone set to auto switch to mobile data. This makes the maps in live view nonfunctional. I can't view recorded videos through the app but the camera has basic http file directory and I can download vids.

Well, I don't know if it deserves a one star review or not because it chashes the instant I try to open it. Seriously, it chashed fifty times in three or so minutes. I rebooted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and it just won't function. I may actually return the dash cam I purchased and buy any other brand because this was my first experience with one of these products and it just won't work.

Both apps to use and control cobra dash cams do not work. Will not connect to camera. Also says it needs firmware update that it will not download. Cobra dash cam was a bigg waste of money. $30 walmart camera worked better then this. Extremly dissapointed.
