This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Paramedic Dextrose Solutions on PC Windows and Mac.

Professionals in EMS and Critical Care Transport often need different concentrations of intravenous dextrose, but seldom have the space or resources to carry them all. Mixing our own solutions is a viable option, but the math is complex and adds one more equation to that big list living in our head. That’s why we developed Dextrose Solutions©, a fast and easy way to calculate a weight-based dextrose dose, prepare a dextrose solution using a base fluid and 50% Dextrose (D50), and modify the concentration of an existing dextrose solution using D50. All you need to know is the solution you have and the solution you want; the app does the rest.
